The big reveal Tuesday morning on K-99 with Big Frank included plans for this year’s tree lighting to once again include both Big Frank and KRIS 6 News Anchor Katia Uriarte at the Friday night Ranch Hand Weekend Tree Lighting. There will be coffee, cocoa, live music, street dancing and a Texas A&M University-Kingsville Senior Art Exhibit Reception. Several shops will stay open late as the city kicks off the Christmas Season.
Saturday morning, the gates to the legendary King Ranch® will open to visitors of all ages for the 29th annual King Ranch® Ranch Hand Breakfast. The action-packed morning is just $6 and includes an authentic cowboy breakfast, team roping, cowboy poetry, storytelling and more!
Once your belly is full, head on over to Historic Downtown Kingsville for the annual Ranch Hand Weekend Festival with inflatables and archery for the kids, line dance and two step lessons and contests, an array of vendors from across the state, live music, a car show, a pan de campo exhibit and all kinds of cowboy-themed fun. Pick up a new pair of boots from the King Ranch® Saddle Shop or one of the many vendors on site and come dressed for fun at the Ranch Hand Weekend Country Concert with headliner Mark Chesnutt!
